Basecamp Climbing Centre

If you've never climbed before, or if you pull hard on some serious stone, we have something for you.

Sport climbing wall with top rope and lead climbing, bouldering and a unique outdoor wall (experience required).

We also have Clip 'N Climb, where theme park meets climbing wall. Funky climbs like nothing you've climbed before. Automatic belays so everyone can climb at the same time. It's never been easier to give it a go.

Walking and Hiking

The Lake Wanaka area is blessed with a network of tracks and trails suitable for walking and mountain biking.

They range from easy tracks beside lakes and rivers to longer steeper tracks offering rewarding views of the surrounding mountains and lakes. There are also a number of tracks in the Mt Aspiring National Park that are well worth taking the time to explore.
